The SM College Scholarship 2024 Online Application is to open to apply. Recently, SM Foundation, Inc. made an announcement on Facebook regarding the launch of its SM Scholarship program for the school year 2024-2025.

SM College Scholarship 2024

SM Scholarship program is an initiative by SM Foundation, Inc. to support the education of financially challenged yet deserving college students in Philippines.

There are three main programs offered by SM Foundation in the field of education and they are as follows:

  • SM College Scholarship program
  • SM Technical-Vocational Scholarship
  • SM School Building Program

As of now, the SM Scholarship has awarded College scholarships to more than 3700 graduates, Tech-Voc Scholarship to more than 4600 graduates and has constructed 103 school buildings.

Benefits of SM Scholarship

Following is the list of benefits a SM College scholar will receive:

  • Full Tuition Fees
  • Monthly Allowance
  • Choice of specialization in accounting, information technology, engineering and education
  • Part-time job opportunities during semestral and Christmas break

Who can Apply for SM Scholarship

Following is the list of qualifications required to apply for scholarship:

  • Grade 12 graduates from public and private schools in the areas covered. Applicants from private schools must have a DepEd voucher and must be Grade 10 finishers from public high schools
  • The student must have General weighted average grade of at least 92% or its equivalent for Grade 12 – 1st semester
  • Total household income of at most P250,000 per year.

  • BS in Computer Science
  • BS in Computer Engineering
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • BS in Accounting Information Systems
  • BSBA in Management Accounting
  • BS in Information Technology
  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • BS in Accountancy
  • BS in Internal Auditing
  • BS in Elementary Education
  • BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering/ BS In Electronics Engineering/ BS Electronics Engineering
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • BS in Accounting Technology
  • BSBA in Financial Management
  • BS in Secondary Education major in Biology, Chemistry, General Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, English

Documentary Requirements

Following is the list of documents required to apply for the scholarship:

  1. Accomplished online application form
  2. Attachments to the online application:
    • Parent’s or Guardian’s Latest Income Tax Return / Certification of Non-Filing of Income / Certificate of Indigency
    • Latest Grade 12 report card
    • Birth Certificate
    • 2×2 ID picture
    • Sketch of home to the nearest SM Mall

Scholarship Deadline

  • The online application will start from February 1, 2024.
  • The deadline date to apply for SM Scholarship is March 31, 2024.
