The DOST Scholarship 2026 Online Application is going to open for all eligible college students in the Philippines. Recently, DOST – Science Education Institute announced the opening of DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship program for the school year 2026-2027.

DOST Scholarship
The DOST Scholarship is one of the most well-known Scholarships in the Philippines. This scholarship program aims to stimulate and entice talented Filipino youths to pursue lifetime productive careers in science and technology and ensure a steady, adequate supply of qualified S&T human resources which can steer the country towards national progress.
This scholarship program is introduced under the DOST S&T Scholarships and supports eligible and deserving college students to pursue their education in the fields of science and technology.
Benefits of DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship
Following is the list of benefits a DOST scholar will receive under this scholarship program:
A. Regular Academic Year
| Tuition and other school fees (for scholars enrolled in private HEIs) | ₱40,000 /AY |
| Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance | ₱10,000 /AY |
| Monthly Living Allowance | ₱8,000 / month |
| Clothing Allowance | ₱1,000 (1st Sem of 1st Year only) |
| Transportation Allowance | 1 economy-class roundtrip fare |
| Group Health and Accident Insurance | Premium |
| Thesis Allowance | ₱10,000 |
| Graduation Allowance | ₱1,000 |
B. Summer / Mid-Year Term Allowance (if required in the curriculum)
| Tuition and other school fees | Actual fees up to ₱10,000 |
| Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance | ₱2,000 |
| Monthly Living Allowance | ₱8,000 / month for two months |
| Group Health and Accident Insurance | Premium |
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, a candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The candidate must be a natural-born Filipino citizen
- Academic requirements:
- Graduating Grade 12 male and female students in SY 2025-2026:
- STEM STRAND: All students belonging to the STEM class
- NON-STEM STRAND: Must be in the top 5% of the Non-STEM graduating class
- Graduate of Grade 12 before SY 2025-2026 and did not enroll in college yet:
- STEM STRAND: All students belonging to the STEM class
- NON-STEM STRAND: Must be in the top 5% of the Non-STEM graduating class
- Graduating Grade 12 male and female students in SY 2025-2026:
- Must be of good moral character and in good health
- May have applied to the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships but did not qualify
- May have qualified for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships but did not avail of the award
- Must NOT have earned any post-secondary (college or vocational) units.

Documentary Requirements
The list of documents required to apply for DOST Scholarship program are as follows:
- Form C – Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Form D – Certificate of Good Health
- Principal’s Certification
- Form E1 – Applicant who is in Grade 12 Graduating/Graduated student in the STEM strand
- Form E2 – Applicant who is in Grade 12 Graduating/Graduated student in NON-STEM strand and belongs to the upper 5% of the class
- Form E3 – Applicant who is attending homeschool
- Form E4 – Applicant who is under the Alternative Learning System
- Form F – Certificate of Residency
- Form G – Parent’s Certification – Applicant has no pending immigration application to another country
- Form H – DOST-SEI Scholarship Examination/Award
- Form I – Applicant’s Certification of No Post-Secondary Units
- Form J – Signed Declaration of Applicant and the Parent/Legal Guardian
- Applicant’s recent picture – passport size (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm or 1.8 inches x 1.4 inches)
- Birth Certificate of the Applicant
- Any of the following proof of income of Parent / Legal Guardian / Spouse depending on their class of work:
- 2024 Income Tax Return
- BIR Form 1701
- Employment Contract for OFW
- BIR Certificate of Exemption from Filing of ITR
- Certificate of Indigency, Certificate of Employment with Compensation
- Proof of Pension (if pensioner)
- Notarized Affidavit of Guardianship
- Marriage Certificate

- Announcement of Scholarship and Downloading of Scholarship Forms – October 6, 2025.
- Opening date of Online Application for DOST Scholarship is October 20, 2025.
- The Deadline date to apply for DOST Scholarship program is November 21, 2025.
- Schedule of Qualifying Examination – February 21-22, 2026.
