PMA Entrance Examination 2026 Schedule, Requirements and Testing Centers

The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has announced the schedule of the PMA Entrance Examination (PMAEE) for applicants in the Eastern Mindanao Cluster. Qualified applicants who have successfully applied may take the examination on July 11 and 12, 2026 at their designated testing centers.

The PMA Entrance Examination is the first step for aspiring cadets who wish to become members of the Philippine Military Academy and serve the country through the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

What is the PMA Entrance Examination?

The Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination (PMAEE) is a qualifying examination for applicants who want to study at the Philippine Military Academy.

Applicants who pass the examination will proceed to the next stages of the selection process before becoming PMA cadets.

PMA Entrance Examination Schedule

According to the Philippine Military Academy, the entrance examination for the Eastern Mindanao Cluster will be conducted on:

• July 11, 2026
• July 12, 2026

Processing of requirements will begin at 7:00 a.m., while the examination will start at 12:00 noon.

PMA Testing Centers for Eastern Mindanao

Applicants may take the examination at the following testing centers:

• Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur
• Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental
• Surigao City, Surigao del Norte
• Davao City
• Digos City, Davao del Sur
• Mati City, Davao Oriental
• Tagum City, Davao del Norte

According to the PMA, around 500 applicants are expected to take the examination at Camp Evangelista in Cagayan de Oro City.

Requirements for Applicants

Applicants who applied online or through mail must bring the following:

• Examination Permit
• One (1) 2×2 ID Photo
• Two (2) No. 2 Pencils
• Valid ID

For walk-in applicants, the following documents are required:

• Duly accomplished Application Form
• PSA Birth Certificate
• School Records
• Two (2) 2×2 ID Photos
• Two (2) No. 2 Pencils
• Valid ID

Proper Attire for Examinees

The Philippine Military Academy requires all examinees to wear the following:

• White T-shirt
• Pants
• Rubber shoes

Applicants are advised to arrive early to allow enough time for the processing of their requirements.

Important Reminder

Applicants from General Santos City who already have examination permits are advised to take the examination in Davao City or Digos City.

Meanwhile, the PMA Entrance Examination in General Santos City has been tentatively rescheduled to July 25–26, subject to the restoration of normal conditions following the recent earthquake.
