DOST Scholarship 2025
Since the need for adequate workforce in the sector of Science and Technology in the Philippines is increasing day-by-day, the Department of Science and Technology- DOST has announced the opening of its DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship program for the school year 2025-2026.
This scholarship program is introduced under the DOST S&T Scholarships and supports eligible and deserving college students to pursue their education in the fields of science and technology.

Benefits of DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship
Following is the list of benefits a DOST scholar will receive under this scholarship program:
A. Regular Academic Year
Tuition and other school fees (for scholars enrolled in private HEIs) | Actual fees up to ₱40,000.00 /AY |
Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance | ₱10,000.00 /AY |
Monthly Living Allowance | ₱8,000.00 / month |
Clothing Allowance | ₱1,000 (1st Sem of 1st Year only) |
Transportation Allowance (for those studying outside of home province) | 1 economy-class roundtrip fare |
Group Health and Accident Insurance | Premium |
Thesis Allowance | ₱10,000.00 |
Graduation Clothing Allowance | ₱1,000.00 |
B. Mid-Year Term Allowance (if required in the curriculum)
Tuition and other school fees | Actual fees up to ₱10,000.00 |
Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance | ₱2,000.00 |
Monthly Living Allowance | ₱8,000.00 / month for two months |

Who Can Apply For DOST Scholarship
To be eligible to apply for DOST Scholarship, a candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The candidate must be a natural-born Filipino citizen.
- Academic requirements:
- Graduating Grade 12 male and female students in SY 2024-2025:
- STEM STRAND: All students belonging to the STEM class
- NON-STEM STRAND: Must be in the top 5% of the graduating class
- Graduate of Grade 12 before SY 2024-2025 and did not enroll in college yet:
- STEM STRAND: All students belonging to the STEM class
- NON-STEM STRAND: Must be in the top 5% of the graduating class
- Graduate of high school before the K-12 Program. Must belong to the top 5% of the graduating class.
- Graduating Grade 12 male and female students in SY 2024-2025:
- Must be of good moral character and in good health.
- May have taken the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination but did not qualify for the scholarship; OR may have qualified for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not avail of the award; OR have not taken any DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination.
- Must NOT have earned any post-secondary (college or vocational) units.

Documentary Requirements
The list of documents required to apply for DOST Scholarship program are as follows:
- Form C – Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Form D – Certificate of Good Health
- Principal’s Certification
- Form E1 – Applicant who is Grade 12 Graduating/Graduated student in the STEM strand
- Form E2 – Applicant who is Grade 12 Graduating/Graduated student in NON-STEM strand and belongs to the upper 5% of the class
- Form E3 – Applicant who is attending homeschool
- Form E4 – Applicant who is under the Alternative Learning System
- Form E5 – Applicant who graduated in High School before the K-12 program and belongs to the upper 5% of the graduating class
- Form F – Certificate of Residency
- Form G – Parent’s Certification – Applicant has no pending immigration application to another country
- Form H – DOST-SEI Scholarship Examination/Award
- Form I – Applicant’s Certification of No Post-Secondary Units
- Form J – Signed Declaration of Applicant and the Parent/Legal Guardian
- Recent picture – passport size (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm or 1.8 inches x 1.4 inches)
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Income – Parent/s or Legal Guardian’s or Spouse’s 2022 Income Tax Return / BIR Form 1701 / Employment Contract for OFW / BIR Certificate of Exemption from Filing of ITR / Certificate of Indigency / Certificate of Employment with Compensation / Proof of Pension
- Notarized Affidavit of Guardianship
- Marriage Certificate

Scholarship Application Timeline
Following is the application timeline for DOST Scholarship program:
- Opening date of Online Application for DOST Scholarship 2025 program – October 13, 2024.
- The Last Day of Request for School Inclusion in the E-Application System – November 15, 2024.
- The Deadline date to apply for DOST Scholarship 2025 program – November 22, 2024.
- Extended Deadline for only for those applicants who have already registered but are yet to complete needed documents until – December 23, 2024.
- Schedule of Qualifying Examination – April 5-6, 2025.
