PHINMA National Scholarship 2025 program is now open to apply for all interested college students in the Philippines. Recently, PHINMA announced the opening of its national scholarship program via a Facebook post for the school year 2025-2026.

PHINMA National Scholarship

The PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS) is a unique scholarship program that supports deserving students — not just financially, but through leadership development, mentorship, and values formation.

PHINMA Foundation believes that nurturing the leaders of tomorrow is key to building a stronger, more compassionate Philippines. Through PNS, scholars are empowered to grow academically, lead with purpose, and uplift their communities.

Scholarship Benefits

Following is the list of benefits a PHINMA scholar will receive under PNS scholarship program:

  • 100% financial assistance on tuition and fees
  • Monthly allowance – Php 3,000
  • Annual book allowance – Php 2,000
  • Annual uniform allowance – Php 1,500
  • Additional professional development allowance – Php 3,000
  • Graduation fee assistance
  • Financial assistance for board exams review
  • Cash incentives for graduates with Latin honors
  • Cash incentives for first-time board passers and placers
  • Participation in PHINMA Leadership and Mentorship Program

PHINMA National Scholarship Qualifications

Interested college students who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for PNS Scholarship program:

  • Applicant must be a Filipino citizen
  • Must be enrolled in any of PHINMA’s partner schools and universities
  • Must belong to a needy family whose annual gross income does not exceed Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (P300,000)
  • Does not have an immediate relative under the PNS scholarship or alumni of PNS
  • Student must have leadership potential and a great interest in nation-building

PHINMA Partner Universities

The list of partner universities of PHINMA for the national scholarship program are as follows:

  • Philippine Normal University – Manila
  • Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sta. Mesa Campus
  • PHINMA University of Pangasinan
  • Technological University of the Philippines – Manila
  • University of the Philippines – Diliman

Students who enroll in any of the above partner schools and universities can apply for PNS program.

To be eligible to apply for PNS Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in one of the partner courses listed below:

Philippine Normal University – Manila

For incoming 1st year students

Bachelor of Education degree (First Year) with a specialization in the fields of:

  • English
  • Filipino
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Science
  • Early Childhood
  • Information Technology Education

Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sta. Mesa Campus

For incoming 2nd year students

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

PHINMA University of Pangasinan

For incoming 1st year students

  • Elementary or Secondary Education course

For incoming 2nd year students

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering

Technological University of the Philippines – Manila

For incoming 2nd year students

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • BS in Electronics Engineering
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering

University of the Philippines – Diliman

For incoming 2nd year students

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • BS in Industrial Engineering
  • BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering

Documentary Requirements

The list of documents required to apply for PHINMA National Scholarship program are as follows:

  • Copy of Registration or Enrollment Form – Official record of most recent academic performance
    • For first year applicants – clear copy of SHS TOR, or complete clear copies of Gr 11 & 12 report cards
    • Second Year Applicants – clear True Copy of Grades from first year
  • Proof of Income (Submit any two of the following documents)
    • Copy of breadwinner’s latest Income Tax Return
    • Copy of breadwinner’s pay slip from the past three months
    • Certificate of Non-Filing of ITR
    • Utility bills from the past three months
  • Two PNS Recommendation Forms (link given below)
    • Accomplished by a teacher, school official, or community leader
    • Recommender should email the form to [email protected]
  • PNS Application Form (link given below)

  • The PHINMA National Scholarship program is ongoing and is open to apply now
  • The deadline date to apply for PHINMA National Scholarship program is August 22, 2025.
