The OFWs and their families who choose to enroll in technical vocational courses are eligible for this program. The OWWA Skills for Employment Scholarship Program was made possible through cooperation with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). It is available to OFWs who are active OWWA participants, as well as to their dependents, to cover the costs of enrolling in tech-voc courses in any training program in their respective regions that is accredited by TESDA.
The Skills for Employment Scholarship Program or SESP is a scholarship program available to dependents of OWWA members. OWWA collaborated with TESDA in this program to make this scholarship possible.
No matter how long the training program is, the applicant will receive the full cost of tuition, up to P14,500.00 per course, through the scholarship. The applicant is responsible for the difference if the training charge for the course they have chosen is higher than what is specified.

For OWWA members and their families, the service has also extended the availability term for up to six (6) months after their membership coverage has finished. In addition, because the dependant is single, the age restriction for dependent availability has been increased from twenty-one (21) to twenty-four (24) years old.
The official Facebook page of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has recently shared the opening of Skills For Employment Scholarship Program (ESP).
To qualified active members and dependents enrolled in TESDA-accredited training centers or other government training institutes, the SESP will provide technical or vocational training support.
